COVID-19 & Return to Play Updates

Bulldogs FC is approved to return to play and begin practices! We will continue to follow state and local guidelines as well as those outlined by our governing organizations, EPYSA, CPYSL, and York USA. We have also adopted our own COVID Safety and Action Plan (linked below).

What this means for us:

  1. Players and coaches must have their temperature taken at home prior to any practice or game. Any temperature above 100.4 ◦F requires the player/coach to stay home. No player or coach can attend if they are feeling sick.

  2. Coaches will be equipped with sanitizer to disinfect equipment (balls, cones, etc) between practices/games.

  3. Team balls will be utilized for any multiplayer drill, scrimmage, or game

  4. Parents must sanitize player owned balls prior to and after each practice.

  5. Coaches will launder pinnies/bibs after each use.

  6. Coaches will be provided hand sanitizer to have available for players/coaches use

  7. No sharing of water, snacks or equipment.

  8. No shaking hands, high fives, fist bump, hugs, etc…

  9. Social distancing = six (6) feet apart when on the team bench, during “team talks”, water breaks and when practical during drills.

  10. Players will position their equipment 6 feet away from each other at the practice field.

  11. Players are not required to wear face coverings while on the soccer field, but they will be expected to wear one to and from the soccer field and on the bench if social distancing cannot be maintained.

  12. All coaches and volunteers must wear face coverings during practice.
